Yesterday I went to the Columbus Museum of Art to see the Richard Avedon exhibit called In the American West: Portraits by Richard Avedon.

As well as doing the photos for The White Album, you’ll remember Avedon as the psychedelic photographer behind this Beatles photo:

Also as a longtime fashion photographer, as well as the legendary camera behind the uncovering of Andy Warhol’s scar:
