Speaking of conferences, I'm super excited for next week's Remix/Mashup conference here at OSU. Keynote speaker: Paul D. Miller (aka DJ Spooky). closing night presentation by Jonathan McIntosh, who created this brilliant political remix video:

“So You Think You Can be President?”

Speaking of remix, Blake Butler and Featherproof (publisher of his forthcoming novel) are doing a brilliant promo: "Basically, we're asking anyone and everyone to download a piece from the book, 'Tour of the Drowned Neighborhood,' in its .doc form, and do whatever you want to it....Two winning entries [chosen by Butler] will be published in SCORCH ATLAS Remixed, which will be published as an ebook and available on the Featherproof site." Check it out!
